***Kirill Belozersky (known in the world as Kozma) belonged to the noble Moscow boyar family of the Velyaminovs. When he was 30 years old, he came to the Moscow Simonov Monastery, founded by Archimandrite Theodore, a disciple and nephew of Sergius of Radonezh.
